9Tales is a trading card game that features valuable non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and offers players the opportunity to earn rewards through gameplay. Its collection of NFTs and various earning potential make it an exciting and engaging game to play.

In the world of 9Tales, there are nine classes of NFTs: Elves, Elementals, Old ones, Angels, Humans, Orcs, Beastmen, Moutas, and Djinns. Each of these classes has its own unique characteristics and abilities, and players can collect and trade NFTs from different classes to build the perfect deck for their playstyle. Whether you prefer fast and agile Elves, powerful and durable Orcs, or any of the other classes, 9Tales has something to offer players of all types.

In 9Tales, players must first build a deck of cards before they can engage in combat with other players or the AI. The total power of a player's cards determines the size of their deck, which means that they must carefully select which cards to include in order to strike the right balance between power and versatility. Players must choose their cards wisely in order to create a well-rounded and effective deck that can stand up to the challenges of the battlefield.

In 9Tales, players are given a limited number of actions at the start of each turn, and must use these actions wisely in order to make the most of their resources. Playing a card typically consumes one action, but some cards have special abilities that may cost additional actions or resources to use. This means that players must carefully consider their options and plan their moves in advance in order to maximize their chances of success on the battlefield.

In 9Tales, players have the opportunity to develop and execute strategic plans in order to gain the upper hand on the battlefield. Attacks can be launched simultaneously from both sides, and some cards may be used to counter or retaliate against other cards or actions. This means that players must anticipate their opponents' moves and be ready to respond with the right cards at the right time in order to emerge victorious.

There are 3 game modes in 9Tales

For now, the game has 3 main modes. The best thing about all these modes is that they do not require any pay-to-win kind of mechanism. Hence, you can enjoy your gameplay, as you improve your strategy and general game.

Ranked gameplay:

It is the form of gameplay that uses an ELO system with ranks and is the most common one. Depending on their rank, players either win more or fewer NITs. The higher their position, the more NIT they receive after each victory.

Coliseum 9Tales:

In the compete-to-earn paradigm, Coliseum is the first game mode in which players can combine their cards into a massive stack before drafting a deck from the combination of all cards. Then, players get to compete against one another, earning better rewards for bigger victories.

Adventure game mode:

Through a variety of games against AI characters, the adventure game mode narrates the history of the 9Tales universe. New characters and tales are periodically added to the game mode.
